24 May 2023
People living in Bristol and the surrounding areas are to get free bus travel during the month of their birthday.
The new £8 million plan, which will see eligible people receive bus passes, is due to begin in July.

The new bus travel scheme will cost £8 million
The aim of the scheme, which is part of wider plans for the region, is to get more people using public transport.
The Mayor of the West of England, Dan Norris, said if more people chose bus travel it could help cut congestion, pollution, and tackle climate change.
