Pupils ‘stressed’ over buses

A mother says she has ‘had enough’ seeing the impact the discontinuation of a bus service in Gloucestershire has had on her child.

The cancellation of the Ebley Coaches 16A service, which ran between Gloucester and Stroud, has affected Mel’s daughter, Ruby.

Many students are now using existing Stagecoach services, but have reported overcrowding and late buses.

In response to the reports, a spokesperson for operator Stagecoach West said they were ‘closely monitoring the situation’.
