Donated bus for Ukraine

A bus donated by an operator in Wiltshire is to become a field hospital before it heads off to Ukraine.

Swindon’s Bus Company gave the vehicle to SHAP (Swindon Humanitarian Aid Partnership), which was set up to help those in the war-torn country.

SHAP will convert the bus, fitting it with hospital beds and anything else required, before it goes to Ukraine.

Mike Bowden, who is the chair of SHAP, said converted buses make ‘perfect’ mobile field hospitals.
