Woman died under bus

A woman in Victoria, Greater London, died after a bus propelled her into the air and under another bus, a court has heard.

Melissa Burr, who was 32, suffered multiple injuries when the bus shunted a parked bus forward on Terminus Place.

The crash, during morning rush hour on Tuesday 10th August 2021, occurred outside London Victoria Station.

Olusofa Popoola, a 60-year-old bus driver, stands accused of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury to fellow bus driver Diane Mathuranayagum.
